Welcome to the 22nd Symposium of the International Association of Cyanophyte/Cyanobacteria Research (IAC) which will be hosted at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Faculty of Science, České Budějovice, Czech Republic from the 14th to 18th of August 2022.

The aim of our symposium is to give all participants the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive discussion on the topics of evolution, taxonomy, ecology, biogeography, and physiology of cyanobacteria and their practical use.
